Facilities at our caravan and campsite near Porthleven
Whether you’re staying in one of our static caravans, bringing your tent or touring caravan, you can make use of the great facilities we have on site at our caravan and campsite near Porthleven.
Our quiet site is perfect for guests who want a relaxing holiday in Cornwall, without a loud bar or clubhouse. Here you’ll find the space and privacy you need to enjoy a restful break near the south coast. On a clear night you can gaze at the most beautiful night sky, whilst listening to the owls hooting in the trees.
For hassle-free holidays we’ve got a range of facilities on-site to help your stay with us be as relaxing as possible, including a new updated shower and toilet block for touring and camping guests, with plenty of hot water.
Kitchen area for washing up, fridge/freezer to store your food. Should you need to do any washing or drying of clothes during your stay a washing machine and tumble dryer is available for your use (additional cost). There is also a covered drying area for beach gear as well as a dry storage area for walkers’, hikers’ and cyclists’ equipment.
For the younger ones, there’s an outdoor playground where they can let off some steam!

What amenities are nearby?
Although we do not have a shop on-site, there is a local farm shop only half a mile away, stocking a range of products from local pork sausages, bacon and eggs to bread, cake and desserts!
Should you require a more substantial list of items then there’s a variety of supermarkets right on your doorstep. Helston, which is only 10 minutes’ drive away, where you will find a Tesco and a Sainsbury’s supermarket as well as variety of cafes, bars, restaurants, a cinema and a museum where you can discover the history of Helston.
The unspoilt Cornish fishing harbour of Porthleven, is only 10 minutes away. It has lovely arts and crafts shops to browse around, cafes where you can watch the stunning scenery as the sea crashes on the rocks below. Small fishing boats land their daily catch here, much of which is sold to the Porthleven cafes and restaurants and the award winning Quayside fishmongers. Do not miss their annual Food Festival, its a must!
St. Ives Is only a 20 minute drive, this picturesque fishing harbour and seaside town, which boasts one of only four Tate Galleries in the world is a mecca for artists. Here you can park a few miles out of the town and then catch the train that hugs the coast into the heart of St Ives and wriggle your toes in the sand at Porthmeor and Portminster beach, voted by TripAdvisor in the top ten of European beaches.
Penzance, about 25 minutes’ drive away, is steeped in history, where you can visit ancient monuments and historic sites.
