Our holiday park is a popular choice among walkers due to its close proximity to the south coast. Here you can visit the spectacular Lizard Peninsula, which is home to the UK mainland’s most southerly destination, Lizard Point. Why not pick up the South West Coast Path and discover places like Cadgwith Cove, Kynance Cove or the idyllic Helford Passage? The views are something to behold…

A must visit during your stay with is the pretty harbour town of Porthleven. This busy fishing town is home to art galleries, acclaimed restaurants and independent shops. There are few better places to spend enjoy fish ‘n’ chips down by the sea than Porthleven. The Lizard Peninsula is also home to many must-see places, including the popular coastal spots of Coverack and Mullion.
St Ives in Cornwall is a picturesque coastal town renowned for its stunning sandy beaches, charming narrow streets, and vibrant artistic community, making it a popular destination for both beach lovers and art enthusiasts.
Only a 20 minute drive, this picturesque fishing harbour and seaside town, which boasts one of only four Tate Galleries in the world is a mecca for artists. Here you can park a few miles out of the town and then catch the train that hugs the coast into the heart of St Ives and wriggle your toes in the sand at Porthmeor and Portminster beach, voted by TripAdvisor in the top ten of European beaches.
About 25 minutes’ drive away, Penzance is steeped in history, where you can visit ancient monuments and historic sites. Have a wander and lose yourself down the old cobbled streets.
Boasting a mild climate thanks to the warming influence of the Gulf Stream, Penzance attracts visitors with its scenic landscapes, including the iconic St Michael’s Mount visible across Mount’s Bay. The town’s promenade offers breathtaking views of the sea, while its vibrant arts scene is evident in galleries, theaters, and the annual Golowan Festival celebrating local traditions.

A wonderful destination if you have kids to entertain, they’ll love the beach which is great for sand castles, the shoreline is great for splashing about in and you won’t have to drag miles from the car park. Also it’s a pretty good stop off point just for a coffee where you can sit back and soak up the fun seaside vibe.

Shhhhh! This one is a secret. The cove is in the shadow of a former tin mine engine house which was built in 1860. You’ll access down a steep winding footpath, across some rocks and is not for the faint hearted but it is worth the effort. This area is steeped in tales of smuggling and shipwrecks. Even on a beautiful summers day, you will feel like you have the beach to yourself.

Marazion is believed to be one of the oldest towns in Britain. Walk the causeway to the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, visit the sub-tropical gardens and explore the castle. The beach is one of the most beautiful bays, with wonderful views to The Lizard Peninsula, in one direction, and Lands End in the other. Pop into The Godolphin Arms for a quick drink and the best view of the Mount, unmissable!

With an almost tropical feel in the summer, Porthminster beach is just a short walk from the centre of St Ives. Porthminster is a firm family favourite, with amazing views to Godrevy Lighthouse. There is safe swimming available. Why not hang out at Porthminster Beach Cafe and soak up the vibes.

Located between Hayle Towans and Upton Towans beaches, Mexico Towans forms part of a four-mile stretch of sand that starts from the north of Hayle estuary. Mexico Towans beach is backed by magnificent sand dunes and offers excellent swimming and surfing in the designated zones. Dogs are allowed all year round.

This is probably the most photographed location in Cornwall. There is a steep 10 minute walk down to the cove, but worth it when the sun hits the water it turns it turquoise in colour. This cove is looked after by the National Trust, from here you can walk over 2 miles of scenic footpath around the cost to Lizard Point.

This west-facing sandy beach is suitable for lots of fun activities from building sand castles to beach volleyball and rocks to explore at low tide and great for learning how to body board, or take a surf lesson at the Dan Joel Surf School. Every Boxing Day hundreds of people take a traditional dip in the waves.

If you prefer your action more of the white-knuckle variety then head to nearby Helston for a day of fun at Flambards Theme Park. Enjoy rollercoasters and rides for the whole family at this popular attraction! Take a spin on the Hornet Rollercoaster, check out the amazing views from the top of SkyRaker – the drop, twisting rider, brave the Thunderbolt and prepare to get wet on the Colorado River log flume!

For awe-inspiring attractions look no further than St Michael’s Mount. Only 25 minutes away from our park, St Michael’s Mount is a Medieval island castle steeped in history and legend. Stroll across the granite causeway where a legendary giant once walked and follow the footsteps of pilgrims. Boat hop to an island where modern life meets layers of history, discover a medieval castle, a sub-tropical paradise and a close-knit island community. Delve into the history of a fortress, a priory, a harbour and a home.

One of the most popular attractions is the iconic Eden Project. With its magnificent rainforest and Mediterranean biomes, the Eden Project is rightly regarded as of the UK’s top places to visit. This epic destination definitely deserves a day of your undivided attention. More than just a huge, tropical garden, Eden is a gateway into the relationships between plants and people, and a fascinating insight into the story of mankind’s dependence on plant life. A great family day out!

West Cornwall holidays really aren’t complete without taking in a show at the Minack Theatre. This legendary open air theatre is perched right on the cliff tops near Porthcurno. Enjoy classical productions or musicals in this dramatic amphitheatre, as you hear the waves crash in close by. It’s open all year round for you to come and explore and discover the incredible story of Rowena Cade, who created the theatre.

Poldark Mine is the only complete tin mine in Cornwall open for underground guided tours and is regarded as one of the most historic locations in the annals of Cornish Mining. The museum and grounds contain many unique exhibits and interpret the fascinating story of the Cornish miners overseas. Described as a ‘Jewel in the Crown of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site’ the mine tour gives a unique insight into working conditions in 18th and early 19th century tin mines and into Cornwall’s geology.
